Tunnel Falls was closed for a long time due to wildfires and the resulting risk of rockslides. It only opened up in 2021 and thankfully, a friendly local had let us know of the reopening while we were hiking along another trail. This is by far one of my favorite waterfall hikes. Hiking along the cliff is always an added bonus.
