Pelican Watching

Hot air balloon sighting is quite rare in Baton Rouge. As hundreds of migrating American White Pelicans congregate at LSU lake for their annual mid-October to early November pit stop, people from all over the city visit the lake to watch these birds. But the people riding the hot air balloon took pelican watching to a whole different level by arranging a sunrise ride over the lake for aerial view. In case you’re wondering, the white dots are pelicans sitting on the tree branches.
