Pelicans flying into the sunrise over the ocean at Corolla Beach Wild Horse Sanctuary in North Carolina. It is a good thing I do not live at the beach, though I would love it, I just cannot bring myself to sleep through a sunrise. It is the most exhilarating time of the day for me and this summer was my first experience of east coast sunrises. To say the least it was an amazing and humbling week.
