The shot taken very recently shows some men & women performing Chhath puja,worshiping Sun God along with his wife, at the time of sunset standing in the river.This is a 2 day festival in North India.Men & women stand in the river water offering prayers as seen here.Many other people gather on the river bank arranging puja which include many fruits, sugar canes flowers etc.The event lasts as the sun completely sets.
