20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Perfect beach day
When near a coast, hitting up a beach is usually on the to do list. On a trip to Charleston, South Carolina we found the beach hidden among the clouds of fog. Despite the fog it was still a nice morning to walk along the water to a pier we could not yet see.
