My brother and I were in Peru and watching the parade when I started to notice that the parade wasn't the only thing that was note worthy. As I looked around at the crowd I noticed that the crowd itself was iconic of the culture. The day to day brightly colored clothing worn by the bystanders was such a culture statement.
