This portrait was taken as part of my ongoing series exploring love and relationships in the 21st century. This portrait of Peter and Sue was taken in their home in Budapest, Hungary. They met while Sue, who is originally from New York, was visiting the city. They almost never saw each other again after Sue went to Palestine for work. But love prevailed and Sue came back to Budapest, they have now been together over 2 years now and recently, Peter asked Sue to marry her. I took this portrait to shine a delicate light on the fickle but powerful nature of love.
