18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Pets Waiting
The pets are strongly backlit in the warm colors of the evening sun. They're waiting for me to come and let them inside. I liked presenting them mostly by their shapes. Adding line to the cat was a way to create variety and contrast with the details of the dog.
