Pho Cao ethnic market located in Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, which considers as a backward market in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Northern Vietnam. It is called as backward market because if it opens on Sunday this week, next week it will open on Saturday. In this photo, This market was the first market fair of Lunar New Year, so it was very particular since many people of 17 ethnic groups in the bordering region came on new colorful clothing to not only buy and sell products but also take a special chance to cultural exchange as well as meet each other by the lunar new year occasion in Vietnam.
