Photographing bird of paradise in Maui, Hawaii, when on closer examination a bee had situated itself between each plant. This gives the impression that the bee is escaping between its ‘prey’; the ‘birds’ of paradise. I love the color contrasts and the perfectly outlined insect flying straight toward the camera lens.
