I had just found this famous spot at Yosemite National Park and the time was awfully ripe in the late afternoon with the sun just beginning to set in the west. After stepping out of my vehicle to take a look at the view with own eyes for the first time, I wanted to no distraction, of course, from the camera and left it sitting in the car. Instead, I went for the sandwich that I brought with me and plugged in my earphones to listen away to ambient soundtrack music while I ate my lunch in peace. Of course, by the time I could no longer feel my hands and the cold began chowing down on the tips of my ears, I ran back to my car to sit by the heater for a bit before going back out with my camera and tripod. With the two in hand, I took this shot of the other photographers' there with me just as I headed back to finally begin photographing Yosemite Valley.
