My six friends and I took a road trip and camped just outside of the North Rim at the Grand Canyon. It was a graduation present to ourselves before having to part ways. I had been to the Grand Canyon before but never truly slept under the stars, cooked my own food outdoors, or walked so closely to bison...and I loved every second of it. The bright earthy hues of the dirt with the bright evergreens make you appreciate every organism that surrounds you. The weather was perfect, the company was perfect, everything felt right and I would catch myself smiling just because I was so happy and content. I thrive on traveling and getting to explore with a camera in hand made it that much more enjoyable.
