14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
(PHOTO)SYNTHESIS No. 21
Using a technique called chlorophyll printing, my images are revealed directly onto natural leaves. This series aims to express the connection between human beings and their environments by printing portraits of members of indigenous communities of the Colombian Amazonian region onto leaves found in this environment.
