14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images

Using a technique called chlorophyll printing, my images are revealed directly onto natural leaves. This series aims to express the connection between human beings and their environments by printing portraits of members of indigenous communities of Colombia onto leaves found in the Amazonian region.
