12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Pink Flamingo
I took the picture whilst traveling in Boliva into the region at the border with Chile. Everything transmitted to me a sense of peace and calm, and a pink flamingo was placidly feeding into the lake.
