Plage de Erbaju from the trail aorund the Torra di u Lioni di Roccapina
Standing by the 17th Genoese watchtower at the tip of the Roccapina beach, with a flurry of children sounds still reaching you from the white sandy beach some 100 meters below, one is instantly struck by the pleasant sense of proximity and distance as you stand engulfed by the vast expanse of the 400-meter-long Rocappina water. Local legend has it that the waters were once scattered with priceless gifts of gold, ivory, and treasures of the maharajah of Jodhpur, abroad a sunken Tasmania ship on its way to the British queen Victoria.
