Plastic Message
This was shot in Naples harbour whilst waiting for the ferry to leave for Sicily, to bring us to our most awaited summer holidays. Strolling around on the top deck to make the time to departure a bit shorter, I noticed how dark, dirty and polluted the waters were down below, water coloured like petroleum. So typical of large city's coastline, more and more often typical of any coastline. I noticed the plastic bag first and then the rubber glove nearby. I waited for the right position of the glove to take the shot. A perfect message for mankind, I thought! Are we waiting for plastic to recycle itself alone? We are doomed I think.
