I was visiting the site of the battle of Gallipoli where many of the original trenches are still visible and maintained as part of a museum. There was a little boy and his sister dressed in camo army gear playing as though they were soldiers. Seeing these children play dressed up as soldiers, I felt like humanity has not learned from any of our past experiences with war.
