The people living here are known as Sama-Bajau. They usually live a seaborne lifestyle, and use a small wooden boat for sailing. Sama-Bajau has sometimes been called the "Sea Gypsies". Looking at this little girl wading in the sea with the seaweed moving around her was indeed a great feeling to witness.
