Playing with Krishna

Holi, known as the ‘festival of colors’ is celebrated on the full moon day falling in the month of Phalguna (Feb-Mar). Various colors and water are thrown on each other, amidst loud music, drums etc to celebrate Holi. Holi is also celebrated in memory of the immortal love of Lord Krishna and Radha.In places like Braj, Vrindavan and Mathura, Holi is a grand festival in which people celebrate the eternal love of Lord Krishna and His divine companion Radha. In many old temples of Vrindaban little children dressed like lord Krishna and play holi by spraying of coloured powders which recalls the love sport of Lord Krishna and His devotees.
