Plowing on the karst plateau (2)

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark is one of the harshest places in Vietnam. The lives of the people there are tied to rocks from birth to death. Due to the scarcity of arable land, they have to make use of small plots of land between rocks to cultivate. The photo I took when I saw two men plowing in a field that looks like a rocky desert in preparation for a new crop.
