I was in tour with the San Diego Ballet when I took this photograph. I was back stage watching my co workers as they danced the Snow Scene in the production of “The Nutcracker”. This scene is full of fast footwork and energetic choreography. The dancers are snowflakes whisking the main character Clara, away to the land of the Sweets. They have long white romantic tutus on, as fake snow falls onto the stage.
