I was on a trip to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to photograph Polar Bears. While the weather was cold due to the wind, it was not frigid. although the guide had told us we would mostly have cloud cover, we had plentiful sun all three days that we were on the tundra. This photo was taken on day 2. This particular bear had walked from one side of the pond, past the tundra buggy, walked back and then turned and walked back again. By this time it had moved further away from the vehicle, but it did stop and look right at us.
