Pollera parade
The traditional attire of Panama is the pollera (passed down from Spanish tradition). During large festivals, the girls don polleras passed down from mothers and grandmothers, and flood the streets. Here, a young girl is leading the pollera parade - while the others stop to chit chat she has a serious look on her face for her big role.
