Popocatépetl view while climbing the Iztaccihuatl volcano.
It was the ascent to the Iztaccihuatl peak on the 60th anniversary of the CAIC (Alpine Club of the Institute of Sciences); 48 years after the tragedy, which occurred there, which killed eleven members of the same club, not older than 20 years. We had had a hike without problems, and the only thing we had to deal with was a voracious wind that lifted the tripod from the floor. We were under the knee of the "Izta" and it was enough with a glance towards the south to witness the magnificence of the volcano Popocatepetl.
