A Portrait of Boluwatife . I was walking to the studio with my partner that faithful Afternoon when I noticed a young very dark but pretty girl on the streets on Lagos . For a black Person , which I also am , she was very dark , they even call her “ DUDU “ which in Yoruba means “ BLACK “ . Imagine being called Black by your fellow black People . But still she stood out elegantly. I knew right away I wanted to take a picture of her . Then I asked the Guardian’s permission to shoot which I was given.
