Carlos Vega is a Likan Antay farmer and healer in the village of Coyo in Chile's remote Atacama desert. I met Carlos when I did an artist residency in Coyo and asked for a portrait one morning after Carlos performed a ceremony on the rangeland where his wife's llama herd is pastured.
