While a student at New England School of Photography in Boston, MA... I discovered the strong potential combining paintings with silhouettes. This exploration lead to the development of one of my strongest images as a first year student. Flash forward two years, now a graduate of the full-time program, and I chose to revisit this setup, believing strongly there was still much room for expansion and creativity. This idea soon became a series, with the goal to make creative, non-traditional artist portraits without showing his/her face directly. Over the course of nine months, I worked with artists from all different walks of life to make images unique to each individual and the moment we shared.
