Portuguese Man o' War floating in the mid-Atlantic

Unlike jellyfish, the Portuguese Man o' War (Physalia physalis) is a colonial organism that belongs to order Siphonophora. The tentacles can deliver very painful stings, while the bell, which is filled with air, is completely harmless.
