Posing beauty

Bears are generally well known as a typically overwintering species. That’s what this individual did most probably as well. As suddenly in April, the unexpected weather covered nearly whole Europe in snow, I’ve have already been to Romania for finding a good spot to photograph wild brown bears. Now the snow enabled me to precisely make out which particular trails were frequently used by the bears. So it happened that one bear passed the trail in quite a shivering distance looking right into the camera.
