I had visited the Costiera Amalfitana south of Naples, Italy, many years ago. I chose to come back to Positano in late March before the tourists start flocking by the hundreds, to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our little daughters. We stayed in an amazing Italian villa with a huge terrace where we could spend hours staring at the sea and the incredible houses hanging literally from the cliffs. I woke up before dawn to shoot the small town with first lights.
