I arrived in Venice Beach, CA, just before the covid lock down began on March, 15, 2020. Before the lockdown, people thronged the boardwalk and beaches. Artists, hawkers, and homeless lined the beach-side of the boardwalk. Restaurants and shops normally packed with tourists and locals are on the landward side of the boardwalk. But after the lockdown order, all the tourists, artists, homeless, and hawkers disappeared. All the shops were closed except this medical marijuana dispensary.
