Pottoks
During a short break for a walk on the way to Iraty (French Basque Country), I encountered a mare with her foal. While she was busy eating grass, the foal was always watching me. She probably did not see a lot of humans in her young life. Even though you can see those poneys often in this area, Pottoks are living freely and it's better to keep an appropriate distance. They will decide to come closer if they want.
