18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
poverty is the worst form of violence.
It is just an ordinary day in the life of people living on pedestrians in a metropolitan city like Delhi. urban poverty is on the rise and poor living on the periphery are forced into the city to seek work opportunities. But people like them don't have a place to live and food to eat, cloth to wear. This picture shows the darkest circumstance of poverty encompassing them with meagerness and starvation with a border of the yellow line, which cant be traversed by those indigent people. I hope this darkness will fade one day.
