Powerful fig tree

Selinunte was an ancient Greek city on the south-western coast of Sicily in Italy. The archaeological site contains five temples centered on an acropolis. Of the five temples, only the Temple of Hera, also known as "Temple E", has been re-erected. I was in the Temple of Hera when I looked up and noticed that in a column had managed to germinate a fig tree. The power of the fig tree is magnificent.
