In my brief experience of life with one of the toughest people on Earth, my spirit was profoundly influenced by this woman. However, more than feeling this impact during the journey, I grew closer to her after the trip while revisiting her photos countless times. her mastery of the situation, her strength in rounding up the deer, driving the sled, melting the snow to make tea, her gentleness in housekeeping, her patience when she prepared the food, sitting in a quiet corner while her guests and her husband and son ate, his honesty when Dismissing my untimely bite with an approving look from her husband. In this woman, I understood joy and sadness, strength and tenderness, passion and despair at the same time, which has led me to this journey for the thousandth time.
