Fireworks have meaning in Japan, one of which is to pray to the dead. We see the ephemeral nature of human life in the light that disappears in an instant. Last year, I lost my dear friend. The first time I met him was the night I saw the fireworks. So, for me, seeing fireworks is also a memory of him.
