There's a large Buddha (maybe 35' tall) and these folks were all chanting a prayer. At one moment, the temple workers tossed out the prayer cloth and the people pulled each of the cloths backwards so that everyone could be covered. The chanting continued for a few more minutes and then the temple workers pulled the prayer cloths back to the Buddha.
