A small white spider preys on a large bee, overcoming size and strength to win this battle. We hardly pause our busy lives to notice the tiny details in nature, like this life-and-death battle. We go about our lives, but all around us are reminders of survival, determination, and instinct. Seeing this scene unfold in front of us while exploring in the garden with my children was a cue that we all need to slow down and pay more attention to the world around us, no matter how small.
