Spending the winter photographing brown pelicans was simply delightful! I had never seen them before I moved to North Carolina and find them to be goofy and adorable. In this photo, there was a light drizzle and this bird was wet. He started preening his feathers and I realized just how cute he was! His grey feathers were two-toned and yellow feathers were vivid.
