This image shows a hot air balloon just beginning to fill with air. The day for me started out at 3:30 am. I picked up my friend and we drove 2 hours to the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival, only to find out that the hot air balloon part of it was cancelled (wind conditions were not right). As we were driving back to the highway to go home, we noticed some balloons were being prepped at a local winery. We parked and quickly took several shots of the balloon launching process.
