Pretty predator makes a catch
Snowy egrets have yellow feet for a reason. They drag them in the water to startle and confuse small fish which they catch with a quick snap of their bills. The delicate breeding plumage seen here nearly led to their extinction in the last century when the feathers were in demand for fashionable ladies' hats.
