Prey: Eagle Consuming Squirrel. This is an eagle consuming the remains of a squirrel. I happened to be at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT, and noticed the eagle atop a tall tree trunk and stopped to take some photos. Not shown in this photo is another squirrel, below, which seemed distraught at not being able to find its companion squirrel.
