While running errands on a rainy day, I got out of my parked car and saw an iridescent reflection glistening on the ground beside my tire. The sun's rays had momentarily broken through the rainclouds, and cast its light on the car oils in the street. This combination of the sun's rays, automotive oils, and water formed a beautiful rainbow of glistening colors. Not only was its iridescence striking, but I noticed that the rainbow colors formed a heart shape on the cement. The diverse array of colors and heart shape reminded me of the beauty of Pride Power and our celebration of LGBTQ+ lives.
