Primordial Roots
The black sand beaches near Vik sit sandwiched between finger-like towers swallowed by the ocean, hulking vulcanic ruble and small mountains dotted by the form of nesting puffins with beaks full of fresh fish. It all feels like being transported back to that moment when our first ancestors emerged from the sea to walk on land.
