Every summer, my family shares a rented houseboat on Shasta Lake with another family. With water toys and a small ski boat in tow, we like to head out to the far reaches of the lake, find an epic campsite, and alternate between skiing, swimming and floating for 4 days or so. This year, our chosen campsite was an awesome tiny island in a large cove glistening with blue-green water. This shot depicts our little "private island," with the houseboat and family members and friends chilling on a large tethered tube.
