Buddhists light up thousand candles & Oil lamp as religious festival during the "Probarona Purnima" at Bandarban. Probarona Purnima, also known as Ashwini Purnima, is the second largest festival of the Buddhist community. On the occasion Buddhists light and send up 'fanush' (balloons made of colorful papers in a symbolic act of lighting the night sky). Like every year this festival was celebrated with traditional religious festivity recently.
