Protea sulphurea Full Cycle

This is the glorious and spectacular Protea sulphurea ? It's a rodent pollinated Protea. I particularly love how you can see the full flowering cycle in this image. Someone had posted a few pics of this plant online and its been on my bucket list for years! So after a few hours of searching, I found a phone number, sent a WhatsApp at 7pm not knowing if anyone would even reply… I sent some of my previous plant portrait images and asked if they knew where this plant was and if they wouldn’t mind me coming to photograph it. Turns out the person I was messaging was a sheep farmer named Wouter and all he told me was to meet him at 9am the following morning… He was 350km away, so I took a chance, got up early and headed towards the snowy mountains...when we finally got there, Wouter was sitting in his pick up truck waiting for us. He got out, introduced himself and asked, have you got your stuff ready? Get in my car, lets go! And this was the final result ?
