18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Protesters

The story is clear, I bothered to show a symbolical confrontation of polish women (and their supporters) and police during critical times (at the same time pandemia, breaking the law in Poland, failure of the government). All of these reasons and of course legally invalid judgement about termination take women to the streets. Irresponsibility and thoughtlessness of polish authority is driving us mad, so we use vulgarisms and protest every day. The biggest demonstration took place in Warsaw, week after a judgment and it exceeded a hundred thousand people.
