Puffin at Látrabjarg Cliffs
Puffins make their nests in burrows along steep rock cliffs by the ocean. This offers both protection from their predators and close proximity to their favorite food source (fish). Puffin enthusiasts are smart to lay down next to the cliff edge in order to catch a glimpse, but it really is so easy to forget that you are hovering above certain death when these cute little guys emerge from their nests.
